Kambua Celebrates International Bereaved Mother’s Day
Celebrated gospel mucisian Kambua has shared on how she grieved over her children while celebrating International Bereaved Mother’s Day.
Kambua reflects how a friend indulged in her grieving time which worked out perfectly. She shared out the gifts she received for her mum and herself noting that there is something heartwarming about good scents.Through her Instagram page, the artist celebrated the day while sending love to all other bereaved mums.

“Today is International Bereaved Mother’s Day and so this gift from a scents company for me and my mom completely warmed my heart.There’s something about good scents that pulls at my heartstrings. I’m sending hugs to every angel mom.”
“One day I’ll tell you how one of my bestie’s indulged me in my time of grief by helping me make a massive order at bath and body works- only for us to later find that 80% of the order was hand wash but the retail therapy was still very effective,” she captioned.
The mother of two lost her baby in 2021 a few days after birth. Her loss caused great pain in her life having waited for 7 years after marriage to conceive. She has then become a maternal health advocate and has been encouraging women not to despair for not having a child after marriage since she is a living testimony.

International bereaved mother’s day is celebrated every 1st Sunday of May to honour any mother that experienced the loss of a child or is unable to have children.
