Renowned singer Stevo Simple Boy has affirmed that he would better date a young lady who calls him ‘babe’ than have a sponsor for money.
During an interview, Stevo emphasized that he would rather be involved romantically with a young lady than be with a rich old woman.The ‘mihadarati‘ hit maker noted that the rich old woman commonly referred to as ‘mumama’ normally take advantage of the young boys. He added that his inclination is in young ladies.

“Wamama wanatumia vijana vibaya sana. Mumama akishakupea mapenzi ya dhati na akununulie gari, izo vitu zote izo takataka zote anakuweka alafu hautakua na uhuru wa kutoka.Wacha nikae vile nilivyo heri niitwe babe. Sing’ang’ani na wamama, wasichana tu. Si madem wote wabaya, kuna wale wazuri. Nairobi bila mumama tunatoboa,” he stated.
He reiterated his stand amid pressure to convince him from the other guy who jokingly revealed that his car, house and studio were given to him but a mumama.

Stevo has been over two break ups after being in two relationships known to netizens. In 2022, he parted ways with content creator Pritty Vishy. Later, he got involved with Grace Atieno who he had introduced to his family in 2023. They ended splitting up due to what Stevo termed as infidelity.
