Babu Owino: This Government Is So Insensitive
Renowned Kenyan Politician and Embakasi East Member of Parliament Paul Ongili Owino popularly known as Babu Owino has questioned the government led by President William Ruto for evicting netizens amidst heavy rainfall.
He has taken to his Instagram page empathically a photo of netizens and their property being evicted out of their places of residence in Mukuru slums.
Babu Owino began his political career in 2011 after being elected chairman of the Student Organization of Nairobi University.(SONU).In 2017 he was elected Member of Parliament for Embakasi East under the ODM political party.

The politician grew up under his mother’s care while much about his father is not disclosed since he passed away while Babu was young.He is married to Fridah Muthoni and they have three children.
Babu has been a voice to the voiceless in the society and has been in the limelight trying to put the government on toes .To his surprise the government being insensitive ,it has taken an action of evicting netizens out of their residence in Mukuru slums amidst heavy rainfall.
“This Government is so insensitive!How do you evict people from Mukuru slums in the midst of heavy rainfall and floods? Where do you expect them to go? Ruto the dynasty can not understand what hustlers go through.One day Statehouse will be flooded with people,” he wrote.
