“Very Mannerless”: Popular Politician Slams Embarambamba After Sending An Apology

Betty Maina, the Muranga Women Representative, expressed strong disapproval after witnessing Embarambamba plead with the Kenya Films Classification Board (KFCB) for leniency.The controversial musician faced a KSH 6.4 million fine and an order to remove all his songs from social media.
Embarambamba, in response to the verdict, humbly asked everyone for forgiveness, acknowledging the inevitability of human mistakes.

He appealed to the Kenyan people for mercy and urged the Kenya National Police to show compassion, emphasizing that his songs played a role in his children’s education. Despite his pleas, he acknowledged the challenge of reducing the imposed severe punishment.
In stark contrast, Betty Maina showed no sympathy, condemning Embarambamba as a disrespectful individual lacking regard for God, himself, and his audience.
She asserted that she couldn’t bear to listen to anything from the artist, deeming him “very mannerless” and accusing him of writing inappropriate songs while lacking respect for God and his music consumers.

Maina described his work as venomous, underscoring her strong stance against the controversial musician.
“You are very mannerless. You are too daring to write your dirty songs and still proceed to studio for recording. You have no respect to God, yourself and your targeted music consumers. I can’t even listen to anything coming from you, you spit venom,” the angry legislator wrote.
Embarambamba’s music is very controversial as we all know and this has put him on the spotlight for quite a while. A number of big names in the industry have warned him against nudity in his videos and music but to no avail .
