CNN journalist Larry Madowo has been left shocked by the price of Ugali Omena the waiter charged him in a restaurant.
In a post shared online, Larry Madowo seemed shocked at what she thought the delicious meal was just an ordinary meal in Kenya’s environments.From the shared post, the former BBC correspondent tagged the price of the meal the waiter charged him in what he questioned the respect netizens had accorded the meal.

Contrary to the normal Kenyan price which Ugali Omena goes from Ksh 70 to Ksh 100, Madowo felt ‘hand-washed’ to the extent that he shared with Kenyans the amount and price of the meal online.
“This meal cost KSh1,200. When did Omena get gentrified?” the revered news journalist posed to fans.
His question of concern emerged shortly after the journalist took his girlfriend Edith Kimani to a Kibandaski in Mathare and enjoyed the delicacy meal at a price not more than Ksh 400.

In the viral video he shared online, he was filmed eating Ugali Omena as his girlfriend Edith Kimani fed on Ugali fish.
However, his recent complaint about the price tag for Ugali Omena has attracted different comments from social media users in which many have also been shocked by it.
