YouTuber Nicholas Kioko has responded to critics who compared his new house built in the village to a police station.

In a recent interview with one digital journalist, Kioko said people who criticized his mansion were allegedly sent by his competitors to write negative comments about his progress in life.

Following their criticism during his housewarming tour, Kioko added that most people who criticized his progress may be homeless unlike him who had tried to build one.

Further, he alleged some who gave negative comments about his house when they met him in real life, pretended to be his big supporters.

It did not affect me. Hao watu wanaongea vibaya si waende wajenge zao. I do not have time for them. Ni watu wako hurt na maisha na wanajiforce kukupenda. Wengine wametumwa competitors to come and comment vibaya on my video,” He alleged.

Despite the criticisms, Kioko disclosed that he had developed a thick skin to deal with critics and that whoever gets affected by social media trolls was his wife.

However, building a mansion in the village marked a big progress in his life according to the Kamba traditions.

“I am proud of the police station. Sisi akam Wakamba kama mwananume unafaa kujenga nyumba. When you die your coffin is taken inside your house first before you are buried. So, the first thing you have to do is build a house at home,” he added.
