Renowned Kenyan rapper Femi One is still excited after her work was recognised by Grammys Awards, awards which are presented by the Recording Academy of the United States to recognize outstanding achievements in the music industry. They are regarded by many as the most prestigious and significant awards in the music industry worldwide.
Femi one being mentioned as a great female rapper by the Grammys is huge and a sign of Kenyan music being reflected on the international levels. She mainly combines her art pieces in Swahili and Sheng languages.She took to her socials to express her pride stating that she was still not over the esteemed recognition and she felt honoured by the Grammys adding that she is now working for a nomination which might come at 26 years too.

“Still not over this…imagine your work being recognized by the GRAMMYS!!! What a WOW!! Let the sleeping masses continue sleeping, we keep pushing the boundaries. Being recognized is the first step now let’s work for a nomination.We keep working because truly you never know who is watching,” she said.
The songwriter has great determination for music and her hard work led to her Grammys recognition promising to work hard to be able to reach nominations.
