Man Takes Poison On Facebook Live After Girlfriend Allegedly Cheated On Him|collage
A Zimbabwean man identified as Kevin Mhofu Ngoshi killed himself shortly after taking poison on Facebook Live over the weekend. It’s reported the South Africa-based Zimbabwean man took poison after his girlfriend cheated on him.
According to reports from South African media outlets, Mhofu went live on Facebook with a plastic bottle of Coca-Cola and started galloping some sips which social media users thought he was taking a soda not knowing it was poison.
Crime Watch Zimbabwe (CWZ) reported that Mhofu was very stressed after his girlfriend cheated on him less than a year after the two solved their love differences.

“In the video, he didn’t say a word. He just filmed himself drinking what people initially believed to be a regular Coca-Cola, but they later realised that the beverage had been laced with some form of poison. He later died, leaving behind a young daughter,” Crime Watch reported.
Mhofu and his girlfriend started their relationship in 2016 but later parted ways and got together in 2023. While in their new relationship, the media reported that apart from infidelity issues, his wife also reported him to the authorities for involving in coal-selling scandals.
Mhofu who was the sole breadwinner for his young daughter and a sibling battling cancer, is believed he failed to withstand the stress of infidelity from his wife and exposure of his illegal coal businesses.
