Shatta Bway Joins Cape Media Limited; What His New Role Entails
Celebrated Radio presenter Steve Maunda alias Shatta Bway has joined Cape Media Limited a few days after parting ways with Radio Citizen. He announced his departure after 5 years of serving at the prestigious station.
Shatta Bway is a versatile radio presenter with a unique way of doing what he loves. He hosted Waks Tikitaka alongside Q-Tee and DJ Rambo from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
Shatta Bway is headed to Cape Media’s owned stations TV 47 and Radio 47 as the director, projects and strategy for Maybets. He shared the news to fans on his socials stating;

“Here’s to starting fresh and chasing dreams. Same fire same spirit. Shatta Tikitaka is the Director, Projects and Strategy Maybets TV host-TV47, brand ambassador Maybets influencer and football coach CAFC.”
Earlier Shatta Bway had stated that he was leaving media industry to focus on raising his two kids as a widower. He is a dad of two; a boy and a girl.
“Where I am at in life, I am making decisions as two parents. I have to think like a mother and as a father and I need time with my children. My son is a teenager aged 13 years old and that is the point a parent is like to lose their children unknowingly,” he explained.

“I feel I need time with the children at this moment and I can’t be in a career that will tie me down daily limiting me from accomplishing what I want to do with my children.”
