Kobbie Mainoo Names His Four Favourite Players Ever, Snubs Cristiano Ronaldo And Messi
Manchester United and England highly rated midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has been booming this season since he made his first senior team debut in 3-0 win against Everton in November last year. Despite his young age, the England International has been bossing the United midfield.
The 18-year-old midfielder earned his first England senior team call up this week by coach Gareth Southgate ahead of The Three Lions two friendly matches against Brazil and Belgium during this international break.

Kobbie Mainoo took advantage of injuries and out of form veteran midfielders Christian Eriksen and Casemiro to earn Erik ten Hag’s trust. The wonderkid midfielder has been putting stellar performances at the club with the latest showdown being the FA Cup quarter Final 4-3 win against Liverpool at Old Trafford.
The youngster has named his four favourite players snubbing two greatest players of all time Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. In the 21st century, many rising players looks at Ronaldo and Messi as their role models but to Mainoo is different case.

Kobbie Mainoo named three Manchester United legends as his idols while also picking Brazilian icon Ronaldinho, “I would say Wayne Rooney. Paul Scholes as well. And King Eric (Cantona). He was a bit before my time, but I still appreciate him,” “And Ronaldinho played with a smile on his face, and he played freely. I think everyone loves Ronaldinho. How can you not? I mean, he was a great player.” Mainoo told the SUN.
