Actress Wema Sepetu has broken her silence over allegations that she was recently assaulted by her husband Whozu.
Speaking to digital journalists after the launch of one sports betting company in Tanzania, Wema told journalists that she was recuperating from the physical assault.
The actress however was adamant about opening up, the consistency and cheekiness of journalists made her tie the knot unknowingly by disclosing how she was feeling.

She told journalists she was healing but wasn’t in the position to speak about the assault.
“I am very fine, mimi niko fine, I am healing,” Actress Wema Sepetu told inquisitive journalists to avoid bombshells of questions.
Her physical assault report was leaked online by a vocal journalist Juma Lokole who went online and said they were at an event shooting birthday videos and pictures to mark Ramadan when Whozu and Wema had an altercation about a phone call.

Lokole said an unidentified lady made a call to Whozu at the shoot but he refused to pick it up something that angered Wema to confront him over it.
According to Lokole, the call came from a woman that Wema discovered had a secret affair with her husband. After the confrontation, Whozu assaulted her.
However, the actress avoided many questions by urging netizens to focus on a betting event that she had come to market.
“Nadhani leo tutaongea kuhusu hela bet sidhani kwamba personal life sasa hivi inahusu sana mkusanyiko wa leo. Nina imani kubwa watu walikuwa wanadhani leo nitakuja kuongelea maswala yangu personal as you can see we are branded by hela bet, sio branded by Wema Sepetu’s personal life.” She argued.
