Gengetone artiste Ssaru was Manyaru made a U-turn about marriage shortly after she set her bride price to Ksh 1 Billion.
Speaking to one digital journalist, Ssaru said she’s no longer interested in marriage despite a couple of men shooting shorts at her in her DMs.
The Kayole songstress added that even though her bride price swings at Ksh 1 billion, she would never change her mind and that as years and seasons change, so the bride price.

“Let me tell you, I want to tell my current bae, but of course, I don’t want to get married right now. I want to wait a couple of years. But every year, the amount increases; it’s like a billion shillings, just like that.” She said.
Responding to those men who complained about her hefty bride price, Ssaru alleged the message was never meant for them.
“Acha nikuambie. Watu wenye wana complain sio wenye nilikua na address. I’m about billionaires,” Ssaru cleared the air.

The rapper went ahead and said the rate at which suitors flocked in her DMs was alarming and that her experience with them is one of many reasons she is no longer interested in marriage.
However, she insisted that her disinterest doesn’t imply she wouldn’t date but at the right time, she would have to.
“But hayo mambo ya mahari tuachane nayo. Nime change mind. Sitaki tena ndoa. ” She added.
