Yesu Niokoe: Yesu Ninyandue Hitmaker William Getumbe Claims Kenyans Favour Embarambamba Over Him

Besieged Yesu Ninyandue singer pastor William Getumbe has come out to complain about how Kenyans and government authorities have been favouring Embarambamba over him.
The musician who has been trending for the better part of February 2024 noted that he has been receiving unfair treatment from the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), the Music Copyrights Society of Kenya (MCSK) and the public compared to his fellow artiste Chris Embarambamba.
According to William Getumbe he has been receiving massive hate online as Embarambamba thrives even though they are doing the same kind of music, rather content.

The artist reiterated that his song Yesu Ninyandue has a deeper meaning, despite its provocative title and nature unlike Embarambamba’s.
Defending his song further, he said he does not mock Christianity as earlier alleged by a cross-section of Kenyans on social media.
He said it doesn’t mock Christianity, as some alleged.
Getumbe insisted that Kenyans showed Embarambamba more leniency despite the controversial nature of his songs.
“I don’t understand why people are hating on me. That song is a normal song. We have been using such terms in churches ever since. There is hatred everywhere. Go to my Facebook page or TikTok; people are commenting negatively. They haven’t been this hostile to Embarambamba. It’s quite unfair,” Claimed Getumbe.

Not long ago, Getumbe released a song dubbed Yesu Ninyandue while Embarambamba dropped his viral tune called Niko Uchi.
However, the two songs were banned by the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) for being blasphemous.
