X, formerly Twitter’s CEO Elon Musk has never missed a chance to throw shade at his competitor, Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg.
In his recent cheeky move, Musk took to his platform on Tuesday, March 5, to poke fun at Zuckerberg as Facebook and Instagram suffered a terrible downtime.
Mideyah Digital understands Instagram and Facebook experienced severe issues around the world on Tuesday, with the services refusing login attempts and feeds stalling.

The technical hitch was first reported at about 3.30 pm and lasted for many hours before it was sorted at around 8.00 pm.
Following the unforeseen challenge, Elon Musk took to Twitter to throw jibes at Zuckerberg with a funny meme.
The CEO posted a photo of three penguins branded with Facebook, Twitter and Threads, all owned by Meta looking jealously at one penguin with the X logo on a different side.
He even attached a tweet from Meta executive Andy Stone through which he tried to assure users that the affected services would be sorted in due time.
Elon did not caption the photo post but netizens outrightly concluded he was attacking Meta and most importantly his friend Zuckerberg.

Quite a multitude of tweeps who commented on Elon’s tweet noted that his platform is way better than all Meta’s combined.
It should be noted that this is not the first time Musk has thrown shade at Zuckerberg and his platforms.
Musk has incessantly been casting stones at Mark whenever his platforms face any kind of technical hitch.
Their ”beef” has been so serious that at some point they dared each other to a fistfight in a ring.
In July 2023, the pair struck a bizarre online agreement to brawl in a UFC-style cage fight.
