Celebrated Gengetone Group Matata Makes Comeback After One Year Hiatus

Celebrated Gengetone Group Matata are back at it again after a one year music hiatus. The group was delighted as they announced through their official Instagram page the release of their new song by the name, NGATA(Pi-Pi-Pi,Po-Po-Po).

This is a Norway-based Kenyan Gengetone music group of five members, Marcus Ojiambo, Freddy Milanya, Richie Mathu, Ken Kimathi, and Festus Kwenda. The group has enjoyed international fame over the years due to the outstanding talent of its members.

The song which is inspired by true events is the final piece of their groundbreaking ‘Super Morio’ Album.

After a year of touring their successful Abum ‘Super Morio’ Matata is back with this bang. The Album triumph includes one of it’s track ‘Not Today’ which was featured in EA SPORTS FC 24(formerly FIFA) giving the group a global recognition.

Matata has requested their fans to welcome the song and also share it so that it can reach other audiences.

Matata has been able to produce hit songs such as SIKO FITI, A MINUTE,BABY MAMA,CHINI CHINI ,KATA,ACHUU among other great hits, which have been greatly received and appreciated by their fans worldwide.

The dedicated group has also been able to collaborate with great artists such as Mejja in their song CHINI CHINI and Sauti Sol in OVERSIZED T SHIRT showing their creativity in producing great projects which soothe their fans.

The song NGATA has a great combination of well picked words with also a great Music Video which has been shot in Norway.
