Churchill Show comedian Professor Hamo has just confirmed that Kenyan celebrities are making a lot of money through endorsement deals.

Hamo recently disclosed the amount of money he received in an endorsement deal he bagged just the other day.

Speaking during an interview with SPM Buzz on the A Nurse Toto red carpet, Hamo said that gone are the days when Kenyan celebrities used to be paid peanuts in endorsement deals.

The comic revealed that he recently signed an endorsement deal worth KSh 25 million.

These, the comedian was forced to state in a bid to rubbish claims that his biggest-ever endorsement deal was worth KSh 10 million.

According to Professor Hamo, most big-time Kenyan celebrities bagged deals worth KSh 10 million and below about 10 years ago.

“That is what the blogs are saying? Why do people like to spread rumours? You guys are talking about KSh 10 million, you should ask me about the KSh 25 million deal I signed recently. We did KSh 10 million deals in 2015” Hamo disclosed.

News of Professor Hamo’s KSh 25 million deal came quite as a surprise to many people including his fans since he had never made it public.

It is not yet clear which deal or which cooperate company Hamo signed the deal with but as it is with almost everything under the sun, only time will tell.

Well, the package did not shock a section of Kenyans who know Hamo’s capability and the worth of his brand.

It is important to note that Hamo is one of the few Kenyan comedians with a larger-than-life brand which makes them lots and lots of money.
