Eric Omondi Celebrates As Kemunto Bridge Starts Full Operation

Comedian Eric Omondi has taken to social media to celebrate the official launch of Kemunto Bridge.
Kemunto Bridge was built not long after a video of a little girl named Shirleen Kemunto crossing a dangerous bridge on her way to school went viral online and sparked a huge debate.
Following the public outcry, Erico took it upon himself to raise funds and construct a decent bridge to be used by Kemunto, other school-going kids and area residents.

Well, the fundraising went well, and money was raised by Kenyans of goodwill.
Mideyah Digital has learnt the construction of the bridge was completed and it was officially launched by Baby Shirleen Kemunto and the funny man.
News of the launch was first shared online by the comic star who shared a video documenting the whole event.
Accompanying the video was a long caption to praise Kemunto for being a hero for her community.
“KEMUNTO BRIDGE is COMPLETE. This young Girl has changed a whole Community. She is a Hero. This Bridge is not only Historical but also extremely SYMBOLIC. It Symbolizes a people’s resolve, it SYMBOLIZES the power in UNITY!!! That Kenyans can come together and SOLVE their problems. We are BRIDGING the GAPS. The Gaps between the POOR and the WEALTHY must and Can be Minimized and diminished. We are BRIDGING the Gaps created by Political and Tribal Divisions. TEAM SISI KWA SISI NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!!! TOGETHER EVERYTHING IS ACHIEVABLE!!!” He captioned.

The post impressed many Kenyans who rushed to the comments section to laud the comedian and other Kenyans who contributed money that took care of the construction of the Kemunto Bridge.
Many appreciated Erico for choosing to name the bridge after the young girl who first made it get the attention of Kenyans.
