US Hapana Tambua Mhesh: Jaguar Reminisces On Day He Was Deported From US
Chief Administrative Secretary in the Ministry of Youth Affairs, the Arts and Sports Charles Njagua Kanyi known to many as Jaguar has gone down memory lane to the day he was deported from the US.
The musician-turned-politician recently shared an encounter that got him flown back to Kenya for lacking important details on his travel documents.
Jaguar narrated how he was forced to cancel his first-ever music tour in the US after failing to indicate the name of his host and area of residence on his travel document.

Jaguar Deported From The US
The former Starehe MP, while speaking to Billy Miya and Mbaruk Mwalimu on their Maskani Show aired on Radio 47 disclosed that US authorities sent him back to Kenya despite having every needed to be in the country.
According to Jaguar, everything was perfect apart from information about his host and where he would be living while in the US.
The musician noted that he was sure he was going to make it big in the US and, therefore gave out everything he owned in Kenya including his house, cars and household goods.
“I told them I am a big artist from Kenya and got my Visa. I knew everything was all systems go. I even gave out everything I owned including my cars and household goods.” Jaguar said.
He revealed that he would have been allowed into the US if only he had a Visa card which he could use to sustain himself in case promoters who had invited him fail to pick him up.

“I had like KSh 20k on my Equity Bank account and I knew that could take care of everything during my tour in the country. So, I presented the card to the authorities but I was shocked when they told me it was not Visa. It was at that point when they deported me.” He added.
The star went on to open up about how his trip back to Kenya was humiliating since he was returning as an individual who had been deported.
However, Jaguar managed to put his affairs in order upon arriving in Kenya and gave his first US music tour another shot.
Luckily, this time round everything flowed smoothly but the first experience served as the perfect lesson for the CAS.
