“Ukimpata, Atakuambia”: Mtumishi Speaks On Why He Quit Working With Mchungaji
Mtumishi, the former Churchill Show comedian has opened up on why he quit working with his comedy aide Mchungaji.
Real name Gilbert Wanyonyi popularly Mtumishi, he told Trudy Kitui that his move to part ways with Mchungaji was brought about by change in ideas, comedy evolution and visions.
Mtumishi added that despite working with Mchungaji at the Churchill Show and later parting ways, whenever one wants to get the two, they will show up or rise to the occasion.

“Growth comes and you have to accept growth, years come and my race is not his and he is not mine but if you need the two of us you can have the two of us,” Mtumishi explained the cohesion he has with Mchungaji.
Further, Mtumishi revealed that he has established his show aimed at growing the comedy industry among upcoming rib crackers dubbed Amazing Show which has existed for almost five years since he quit working with Mchungaji.
Speaking more of Mchungaji and what he’s currently doing, he distances himself and tells Trudy that whatever she wants to know about Mchungaji, perhaps she look for him and enquire more.

According to Mtumishi, poking noses on people’s lives ain’t part of his personality but when it comes to business collaboration, he may be engaged to give a glimpse of what’s in the kitchen and what has been cooked.
“Yeye sitaongelea mambo yake na ukimpata, atakuambia vitu anafanya lakini, dreams ni tofauti, visions tofauti na mbiyo ni totauti” the comedian added.
On his relationship with his mother, Wanyonyi revealed that he’s currently on good terms with her and lives happily.

That should be noted that in 2023, the comedian testified in a church that his mother hates him and practices witchcraft and she’s the reason he broke up with his wife months after their wedding.
The allegations went viral on social making people lush insults at him for being ignorant to the extent of airing the family’s dirty linen to the public. His father, on the other hand, urged him to go home and have a sit-down over the indifferences.
The mother on her side fell into stress over the betrayal she got from her son. Speaking on Maskani na Massawe Japanni, the angry mother hung the call after hearing she was on air and told the comedian to go home and restore peace in the presence of clansmen and his uncles.
