“I Failed You”: Nicki Bigfish Extremely Emotional After Losing Dad

Popular Kenyan prankster Nicki Bigfish, his family and close acquaintances are in mourning following the sad demise of his father, Mideyah Digital has learnt.

This publication has learnt that the prankster’s father died on Saturday, February 3, after a long battle with a cancerous head tumour.

Breaking the sad news to his fans and the world, Nicki posted a video of himself spending time with his father at the hospital followed by a short but emotional caption.

Nicki disclosed that he had gone all out to ensure that his father got back home healed but was disappointed to see him go back in a coffin.

The prankster and comedian expressed his disappointment, holding that he could and could not forgive himself for failing his dad.

“Mzee amesema itakua vizuri akitutangulia.
I promised to take you back home walking but I’ll take you back in a box. I failed you. POLE.
Rest easy” Nicki wrote on Instagram.

The creative’s post attracted the attention of fellow celebrities and fans who thronged the comments section to console him.

Mideyah Digital understands that the star had earlier taken to social media to plead with the public to contribute towards clearing his late father’s medical bills.

In a true Kenyan spirit, Kenyans from all walks of life came out and did whatever they could to assist where possible but God had other plans.

It should be noted that Nicki had taken his fans and followers through every step of his dad’s progress even as he received medical attention.

In one instance, the prankster posted a video of his ailing dad in hospital as he sought financial aid and subsequently sent out a thanksgiving post to appreciate everyone who stood with him.

“Nasema asante sana to everyone who’s helped me through this difficult moment,” He wrote.

“My dad has a cancerous head tumour we are waiting for surgery early next year inshallah,” He added.
