Miracle Baby Seriously Sick, Appeals For Financial Help From Fans

Kenya’s Mugithi Musician formerly a Gengetone singer Peter Mwangi alias Miracle Baby has hit the news trends due to his serious health condition. In an exclusive video, Miracle Baby’s wife Carol Katrue has revealed to fans his worsening health with his currently accumulating bill standing at Ksh. 1.02Million.
The mother of one who was with Karangu Muraya beside Miracle Baby’s bed, notes Miracle Baby is on a machine for one week to see if it will get rid of an infection he has. She further states his increasing pulse rate and decreasing oxygen to confirm his deteriorating health. Additionally, to the shock of many, she states they don’t have an NHIF card which could partly save the situation. This is after the hospital fronted a request asking them to pay at least half of the pending bill to comfortably continue with Miracle’s medication.
“Bado ako kwa machine. Ameambiwa atakaa for one week tuone kama infection itatoka. Pulse rate inapanda. Oxygen yake inaenda ikirudi chini, that’s why oxygen machine iko tu hapa incase irudi chini wanaconnect.”

Karangu Muraya has therefore asked fans and netizens as a whole to step in and help settle the shooting bill to enable Miracle get further treatment.

Miracle Baby who recently suffered intestinal rupture has been battling a gastrointestinal condition for almost five years now. His wife Katrue while speaking during an interview, revealed the musician underwent his first surgery in 2018. The surgery was successful before his condition would later come back in 2020.
“Hio ugonjwa ilianza 2018. Actually, 2018 ndo alifanyiwa operation yake kwanza na ilikua bado obstruction ya intestines kuna vitu zilikua zimeblock but that time ilikua growth. So akaenda hio operation ya kwanza na ikakua successful na akawa fiti. So like akakaa 2020 ikiisha na uko November,December akaanza kuumwa but sasa inamuumia kwa umbali tumbo. So sisi tunabuy tu dawa za kawaida tukidhania ni ile tu stomach ache ya kawaida”

It worsened in 2022 prompting another medical attention. A scan was done and according to reports from an hospital along Thika Road, there was growth on his intestines. A Ksh. 300,000 surgery was therefore required to control it. However, they did not undertake the recommended surgery due to an advice from a doctor who claimed there is no growth in the intestines.It is until January 2024 that the intestines ruptured, and this time, a surgery was done.
Despite the heartbreaking situation, unruly netizens have remembered how he flaunted a Ksh 87,930 club bill only to come and ask for help to sort his medical bill.
