“Strange Love”: Konshens Explains His Mad Love For Kenya
Konshens, a Jamaican Dancehall has opened up on why he madly loves Kenya as a state and its netizens. On social media, the dancehall artist said his love for Kenya and East Africa at large is indescribable.
Garfield Delano Spence popularly Konshens, took to his X account to express his deep love for Kenya as an international artist and devoting themselves to support him in his music industry.
According to Konshens, East Africa led by Kenya as an example, is peaceful, accommodating and highly supportive when it comes to the entertainment industry. As an artist, he has gained loyal fans which he looks forward to working with and gaining their total trust.

“Why do I show so much love to East Africa? Because East Africa has shown me unconditional love for so many years for FREE!!” Reads Konshens’ post in part.
The singer claims even if he goes silent for years without releasing a song, netizens from East Africa specifically Kenya will still show him, unending love, following the existing artists Kenya has bred that have a global view of growth.
“It’s a strange love that should be studied lol🤷🏾♂️. In the booming of Africa, East Africa(Kenya) should be a part of that boom.” The Jamaican artist added.

Besides Kenya, the singer disclosed that the United Kingdom is another place where he has received a warm welcome and great love in his artistry journey as a celebrated dancehall artist.
“The next place like that for me is the UK though I’ve never paid any attention to them. No promo and hardly host shows there but they always show me, mad love” He disclosed his love for the UK.
While in Kenya from early December to early January 2024, the singer managed to travel to Uganda to pay tribute to the late Mowzey Radio artist before performing at Zari’s White Party held in Kampala.

From Uganda, the singer came to Kenya and collaborated with Kenya’s dancehall artist Krg The Don where the two released a hot song named Time Bomb.
Konshens’s love reception from Kenya never stopped there as one Kenyan tattooed his name on her chest and shared on social media where online users spread the picture until it reached him.
Upon seeing the tattoo, the singer said: “I’ve seen my name on fans, my lyrics, I’ve heard stories of what my music did or meant to people, I’ve had people come up to me and say I changed their lives and their family’s lives by doing some simple thing that I didn’t think twice about.”
“Things that I won’t even remember and it is the most gratifying feeling in this job. I do not deserve my fans. Love you all so much and you all did so much for me and mine. Thank you all,” Konshens added.
