Jalang’o: I Also Have Airbnbs, It Is One Of My Biggest Businesses
Lang’ata Member of Parliament Phelix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o has aired his voice on Airbnbs amid ongoing controversies. The ODM legislator while speaking during KRG The Don’s birthday, revealed he is into Airbnb business and is not afraid to declare so.
According to him, the business is booming so well and stands to be one of his biggest so far.
“I have Airbnbs, I have so many. That is one of my biggest businesses,” Jalang’o fearlessly declared.

From his point of view, Airbnbs aren’t bad provided they are run under the law. Jalang’o therefore urges the Government to ensure all Airbnbs are registered to curb the unfortunate numerous Airbnb tragedies.
“The one thing we can do is to make sure Airbnbs are registered,” he notes.
Jalang’o’s confession on running Airbnbs comes at a controversial time when such apartments can be rated as ‘black spot’ for women’s death. Just recently, Pastor Kanyari’s sister Starlet Wahu met her untimely death in one Airbnb in South B, Nairobi.

Barely a week later, another lady was found brutally murdered with her body dismembered in a Roysambu Airbnb. The Government has since launched a crackdown to weed out such unregistered apartments in bid to do away with such heartless murders.
