Reason Behind Diamond Platnumz, Shakib Healthy Relationship

Diamond Platnumz has snubbed netizens who believe he harbors ill feelings against her ex-baby mama, Zari Hassan’s new and younger husband, Shakib Lutaaya. The relationship between the two ended in February 2018 and however nasty their breakup was, they had to stay together for the sake of their two children, therefore bringing Shakib in the mix.
Diamond and Shakib met for the first time in October 2023, less than a month after Zari quietly tied the knot with the latter in an only invite glamourous wedding.
In a heartwarming video that was captured by Zari at the airport on the day of the meeting, the Bongo flava star was seen hugging and sharing smiles with Shakib, something that shocked the fans who had for long suspected and imagined tension between the two.

Speaking in an interview at Ngong Racecourse, Diamond Platnumz made it clear that there is no bad blood between them. He made it clear that they were committed to co-parenting and nurturing their children in a loving and more supportive environment.
“We have a good relationship with him and we are both committed to being positive role models to the children,” he said.
Zari has been credited for her skills and bravery in juggling between relationships and motherhood. With this, she has successfully integrated Diamond’s children Tiffah and Nillan into her new life with her husband, Shakib. He on the other hand seems to be blending in well and slowly building a connection with the children as he usually spends quality time with them.

When asked about his relationship with Diamond, Shakib declined to discuss it.
