Ever-vibrant TV host Tony Mwirigi has left Cape Media-owned TV station, TV47, Mideyah Digital has exclusively learnt.

 

This publication has learnt Tony Mwirigi hanged the microphone at TV47 on Monday, January 8.

 

News about his exit was first shared by the TV host and emcee through a private message sent to his colleagues at Cape Media.

Tony Mwirigi took his time to thank and appreciate every person who made his TV journey a success as he signed out from the station.

 

“Connecting East Africa And Africa at Large Through Music +Entertainment was my Target 4 Years and 4 Months ago and I am Glad we achieved That and more Through Bomba La Sanaa show- Its Been Great Being part of This Family for The Past 4 Years 8 Months! Time now to step Out. First Glory To God🙏. A Big Shout Out To Mr Wilson Mbugua for Giving me My first chance as an intern on the 15th of April 2019. Thank you to the first CEO Eugene Anangwe for believing in Me and starting Bomba La Sanaa show on July 18, 2019. Former CEO Abubakar Abdulllahi May God Bless you Always !!! HR,Lilian Makandi Thank you for Always correcting me. And Finally To My Amazing Co-host Bancey Kimuyu you are a star Keep Shinning❤️,” Mwirigi wrote.

 

Mideyah Digital reached out to Tony Mwirigi to find out about his next move and destination even as he leaves TV47.

 

Speaking during an exclusive phone interview with this publication, Tony Mwirigi disclosed that he has left TV47 to focus on his personal growth.

The TV presenter, however, assured his fans that he will soon be back on air, holding that they can catch up with him at different events in the meantime.

 

“I am taking time off-screen to focus on personal growth. I am still around and soon, my people will see me on air. In the meantime, lets catch up at different events I will be hosting and emceeing before I announce my next move.” Tony Mwirigi told Mideyah Digital.

It should be noted Tony Mwirigi is one of the youngest yet popular TV presenters in Kenya.

 

The journalist has also been doing exemplarily well as an emcee having hosted some of the biggest events in Kenya.
