Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United Agree On Loaning Jadon Sancho

Manchester United and Bundesliga side club Borussia have been in talks since the January transfer window was officially opened on 1st of January for a possible loan switch of England winger Jadon Sancho this January.

The winger who was signed by Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021 at a transfer fee of £73 million has not had merry time at Old Trafford since he joined.

 

During that period, Sancho has only scored 12 goals and provided six assists in 82 games for United and he’s been banished from the first team this season after falling out with Dutch manager Erik ten Hag.

Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland after winning DFB-Pokal on 13th May 2021 where they played together at Borussia Dortmund.

Now the reports are suggesting that both clubs have reached an agreement on fee transfer for Sancho with Borussia Dortmund set to pay a £2.5 million total package for the winger 6 months loan.

 

As Sancho is edging closer to a sensational loan return to Borussia Dortmund during the January transfer window, it will be a career revival for the winger as he will be looking to gain back his form as well as getting game time at Dortmund.

 

Sancho spent four seasons with Dortmund where he made 137 appearances scoring 50 goals and providing 64 assists for the Bundesliga side.
