New Year Resolution: KRG Vows To Bank Dollars, Shillings Set For Girlfriend Allowance
Celebrated dancehall artist KRG The Don has ushered in the new year by laying down a bombastic resolution list of what he’s going to accomplish.
Popular for coining Mambo Imechemka slogan, he has shared his resolutions on social media by first forgiving and seeking forgiveness for whoever they criss-crossed in 2023.
“Kama nilikukosea 2023 pole sana sikujua nifanye nini at that moment. 2024 sitaki mambo mabaya”he apologised.

After seeking an apology, he has gone on and laid down his New Year resolutions in part by revealing that his hit song featuring Jamaican dancehall – Konshens will be released on 10th, January 2024.
Besides the song; the millionaire artist has vowed to let Kenyan shillings go and adopt the use of dollars and pounds.
“Mwaka huu hatuchukui ma-shilingi. Tunachukua dollar na pounds.” The statement reads in part.

Prior to the 2024 resolution, KRG alleged that for any Kenyan artist to work with him in music; the artist must pay him a whoop of Ksh 154M.
This made Kenyan artists murmur not knowing where they’ll get such an amount of money to pay KRG for a single collaboration.
