Manchester City and Argentina forward Julian Alvarez had a night to remember after leading the Cityzens lift their first-ever FIFA Club World Cup in their history.

 

The Argentinian international signed for Man City in January 2022 last season from Argentina side River Plate where he debuted for Man City in the 2022/23 season.

 

The player went on to win a continental treble with Man City.

At the age of 22, Alvarez represented Argentina in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar where they were crowned Champions after beating France in post-match penalties.

 

Alvarez first ever to win World Cup and a continental treble.

 

Tonight, Alvarez had yet another beautiful day to remember after scoring 2 goals and assisting another one where Phil Foden converted.

Alvarez at the age of 23 won, FIFA World Cup with Argentina in Qatar in 2022, Copa América in 2021, and Finalissima in 2022 after beating Brazil in the Finals.

 

In the 2022/23 season he won a treble with Man City where they won: the Premier League for the third season in a row and the FA Cup after beating Manchester United in the Finals as well as winning the UEFA Champions for the first time in club’s history when they defeated Inter Milan in the Final.

 

Today Alvarez adds yet another trophy to his cabinet after helping Man City beat Fluminense of Brazil 4-0 as they have been crowned 2023 FIFA Club World Cup winners at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
