Chilling Video of Police Arresting Alleged Bank Robbers in Nairobi West Goes Viral

A video of police officers arresting three men alleged to have robbed a victim outside a bank in Nairobi West has caused ripples on social media.

 

The video which shows several armed police men surrounding and detaining the three men went viral on social media with countless netizens airing their different opinion over the incident.

 

Many people who sighted the video lauded the police for their swift action as they poked fun at the robbers.

Others, however, condemned the police officers for using excessive force while conducting the arrest.

 

It should be noted the robbers were forced to lie on the ground as some officers walked on them while conducting a thorough search in their pockets.

 

Mideyah Digital understands the three robbers were arrested on Wednesday, December 21, outside a bank in Nairobi West area.

 

Police recovered KSh 1.5 million they had allegedly stolen.

 

According to police and an eyewitness, the three men trailed a private car from Industrial Area to the scene, where they broke in and stole the cash.

The robbers broke into the car, a Ford Ranger and grabbed the money which had been placed in three envelopes.

 

The incident was noticed by pedestrians who raised an alarm, alerting the police who were manning a nearby bank.

 

The officers swung into action and ordered the three robbers to lie down at gunpoint.

 

They then dramatically searched them for weapons and any other dangerous items before handcuffing them.
