According to Khalif Kairo, he respects Eve Maina because they also do business together and that he cannot ruin a good thing by introducing romance between them.
Khalif Kairo added that people just assume the two are an item, which they are not.
“You see, Eve Maina is my very good friend. That is one thing I don’t shy away from saying. We talk a lot. We are both in business. We agree on a lot of issues. For a person like me, I don’t have friends, but I have Eve who we can chat. We just good friends, even right now I am from her shop. And tomorrow you might see her at Kai and Karo. People have this assumption that we are dating, and we are not.” Khalif Kairo said.
Kairo admitted that indeed they could make a good couple and that many people think so too but he cannot date Eve Maina because it will ruin their friendship.
“Yes, we could make a very good couple, even most people say that, but I don’t want to speculate.” Khalif Kairo added.
