Kenya’s Head of State President William Samoei Arap Ruto is celebrating his 57th Birthday today as well as his Wedding Anniversary.

 

To mark the special day, Ruto’s wife Rachel Ruto took to Social Media to celebrate the milestone with a beautiful and lovely message.

 

The First Lady filled with gratitude thanked President Ruto for the moments they have shared as he terms him her source of joy and strength.

Referring to him as Bill, she further noted that he has always been supportive to her as she celebrates their love which has stood the test of times.

 

“Happy Birthday, Bill, my cherished friend and confidant. On this momentous day, as we celebrate your birthday and our wedding anniversary, I am filled with gratitude. Reflecting on the journey we’ve shared, I am reminded of a verse from the Bible, There are three things that will endure – faith, hope, and love – and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13. On his 56th Birthday last year, President Ruto planted trees as he urged all Kenyans to do the same to combat effects climate change which is taking a toll on the world

 

“Every parent should plant 100 trees for their child during birthday celebrations. We are facing a severe drought that has never been witnessed in 40 years as a result of climate change,” President Ruto said.
