Ken Mijungu Leaves KTN After a 3-Year Stint: “See You on the Other Side”

Revered news anchor Ken Mijungu has left KTN, Mideyah Digital can authoritatively report.

 

The polished scribe announced his exit from the Mombasa Road based TV station on Wednesday, December 19, 2023.

 

In a Facebook post sighted by this writer on Ken Mijungu’s official account, the journalist thanked God for a great 2023 at KTN as he bid his fans goodbye.

Mijungu disclosed that Wednesday, December 20, was his last day at KTN.

 

The news anchor did not reveal his next destination but assured his fans and followers that they will see him on the other side soon.

 

He also did not disclose if he had been fired, resigned or moving on to the next one for greener pastures.

 

Ken Mijungu wrapped up by wishing his fans a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

 

“It has been a great run in the year of our Lord 2023. Tonight is my last as a clown on Air until next time. Thank you for making us be who we are today. Thank you. God bless and see you on the other side. Merry Christmas and Happy New year.” Ken Mijungu wrote.

 

Following his announcement, fans trickled the comments section of his post to wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

 

Mijungu’s exit from KTN comes about three years after joining the Standard Group owned media station.

Ken Mijungu joined KTN on December 1, 2020, as his first working day.

 

Reports about Ken Mijungu’s new job hit the interwebs after he was spotted within the company premises.

 

The journalist further fuelled by a post on his social media that read, “Welcome Home” which is KTN’s slogan.

 

It the aforementioned was confirmed when he went on air just days after the speculations.
