Witchdoctor Wanted By Police For Diverting Patients From Hospital To Her Shrine
Police authorities in Greater Masaka are searching for a traditional witch doctor identified as Nnalongo Nansamba on reports that she has been stopping Anthrax patients from going to the hospital and encouraging them to visit her shrine for healing.
In a meeting that was chaired by authorities in Masaka, Nansamba was pinned for fooling patients and telling them how she could heal the disease that is widely spreading among different people.

The Kimaanya Deputy RDC, Mr. Kabobera Ahmed Kateregga Musaazi revealed that Nansamba a witchdoctor with a shrine in Rakai, Kyotera in Namukaka, Masaka City had developed a tendency of camping around hospitals, convincing them to ditch medical treatment because the disease they suffered from was actually not Anthrax but a result of eating stolen meat.
Mr. Kabobera ordered for the immediate arrest of the witch doctor saying they couldn’t stand a person misleading ailing people to stay away from medication. He further called upon people who had information about Nansamba’s whereabouts to report to police.

Rakai district is under quarantine after the outbreak of Anthrax disease in Kabira Sub-county that has claimed the lives of 17 people.
