“Watengeze Private Rooms”: Mombasa Woman Fights For Conjugal Rights Of Prisoners
A Mombasa woman has sparked debates online after requesting the government to provide private rooms in prisons where inmates who are serving sentences of more than two years can get the privilege of enjoying their conjugal right.
The lady sensationally claimed that the move will give inmates the opportunity to be intimate with their wives whenever they visit their husbands in prisons.
According to the lady, implementing the aforementioned move will greatly help in reducing the rate at which homosexuality is prevailing in prisons and even outside.

Speaking during an interview with NTV, the woman insisted that men cannot stay longer without copulation.
Mashoga wanazidi kuongezeka, wacha nizungumze ule ukweli. Kwa sababu huku ndani hawapati burudani. Naomba serikali ikiwa inawezekana waweze kutenga sehemu ambayo mtu akishikwa mke wake anaweza kuja kumtembelea manake mwanaume hawezi kujizuia.” she requested.

She insisted that setting aside private rooms where prisoners can have relations with their visiting wives will also help in protecting many marriages.
Her sentiments triggered mixed reactions on social media with quite a number of people backing her.
Others, however, differed with her holding that prisons are not brothels.
