Bi Kadija Kopa Shades Light on Why She Didn’t Attend Zuchu, Diamond Platnumz’s Wedding
Bi Khadija (encircled) said she and her husband blessed any man who'll marry Zuchu whether in their presence or absence/ courtesy.
Taarab songstress, Bi Khadija Kopa, has shade light on why she and her husband never attended their daughter’s private wedding.
Speaking to one media outlet in Tanzania, she explained that they had already poured their blessings on any man who would marry their daughter Zuchu, whether in their presence or absence.
Bi Khadija also said they had already blessed Zuchu’s marriage and that she was happy after she learned that her daughter had found a partner and married.

“Kuhusu kutohudhuria kwenye ndoa sisi kama wazazi yaani mimi na baba yake Zuhura tulishatoa ruhusa kama akitaka kufunga ndoa, basi afunge tu hata kama sisi hatutakuwepo kiufupi tulitoa baraka zote kwa mtu yeyote atakayempata, na vizuri kampata mtu wamefunga ndoa kisirisiri, yote heri.” Bi Khadija explained.
The renowned singer also said they had earlier chosen for Zuchu the priest who’ll step in for her father and witness during her wedding. She said they chose Sheikh Walid to be in charge of her marriage plans as the representative of the family.
“Nimeona kuna watu wanasema kwanini Shekhe Walid amemshika mkono Diamond na sio baba yake Zuhura. Unajua sisi kama sisi Waislamu wakati wowote shekhe wetu anaweza kuwa Walii kwa upande wa mtoto, na sisi tulishatoa ruhusa kwa Shekhe Walid kuwa ndio baba yake wa hapa anayemsimamia.” She clarified, adding that herself gave birth to Zuchu out of wedlock.

Sheikh Walid, on his side, revealed that he officiated the wedding between Zuchu and Platnumz five months ago and that the surface videos and pictures were not clout. He urged netizens to wish them well in their marriage.
“Vile mlivyoona kwenye mitandao ni kweli ni ndoa Wala siyo kiki, ila naona watu wengi wameshtushwa na hii Habari maana mmezoea kuwasemasema Diamond na Zuchu wazini kila kukicha sasa hili Jambo heri lishangilieni na kuliombea heri,” Sheikh Walid said.
