Kibera food vendor has apologised to French YouTuber Kino Yvess for overpricing him after eating at his food cafe.

 

The food vendor priced the YouTuber Ksh. 1,000 for Ugali Matumbo which he ate while complaining concerning the street food.

 

The viral video shared over the weekend, trended on social media platforms where many Kenyans were left in utter shock.

In the video, the Kibera food vendor priced Yvess Ksh. 800 for Kibandaski Ugali and vegetables sh 200.

 

At the start before bargain, Kibera man claimed Ugali Matumbo at his Kibandask goes at sh 1,000.

 

Through bargain, he managed to go down by Ksh 100.

 

The French YouTuber finally paid Ksh. 700 for the meal.

 

The food vendor after overpricing the French YouTuber, has apologised and promised him free food when he goes back at the Kibandask.

“I say sorry if you were feeling overcharged. I say sorry. Don’t fear, you just come back before you leave from Kenya. We shall talk” he apologised.

 

Further, the vendor alleged that it’s the hike of fuel and Kenya’s current economy that made him shoot the price of food at his Kibandaski.

 

Because of economy, that’s why it happened like that but you take it like I overcharged you but I say sorry if you were feeling overcharged. ” He added.
