Akorino Trio Twerking In A Viral Video Opens Up

  • Akorino trio whose recorded video surfaced online have cleared the air alleging they were having fun at the Ruiru Club.

 

In the surfaced video, the trio were spontaneously twerking on stage as men grind their behinds.

 

In an exclusive interview on Paxton Tv, the Akorino trio said they were celebrating the birthday of one, Mary Njeri.

Mary the birthday girl, revealed in the interview that making fun on her birthday was a way of beating jobless stress that she has been in.

Identified by their turbans, the trio Mary Njeri, Nyambu Kim and Joyce Mungai claimed social media users only focused on twerking part.

 

According to them, one recorded video that they were cutting the cake in celebration of Mary’s birthday was never shared.

 

They further alleged that at the twerking premise, there’s no way they could not make fun yet it’s the place they received the birthday cake.

Nyambu who make a living in a club, defended the twerking scene by alleging religious persons should not judge them harshly.

 

We were just having fun. It wasn’t our intention to offend anyone” she revealed in the interview.

 

Joyce Mungai on her side revealed that despite being her first day in a club, the DJ’s music selection could not hinder her from shaking her body.

 

We are human beings and have blood like any other. It was my first time in a club yes but was just to make fun. That’s why we never hid or remove our turbans” she disclosed.
