Moi University students will have to dig deep in their pockets to afford Kales, tomatoes and onions after the government rising taxes.
Mama Mboga Association in Eldoret, Kesses have issued a press statement to students in session to adhere to the changes in price of glossaries.
According to statement seen by Mideyah Digital Media, a single onion will cost sh 20, tomatoes sh 30 and Sukumawiki sh 20.

The changes in price according to Mama Mboga Association around Moi University, have occurred due to shortage of supply and increased taxes.
Students have further been cautioned about glossary payment mischievousness where some are alleged to pay for commodities via “please call me”.
“We have also noticed that some of you are paying by ‘please call me’ instead of sending money.

“Those with such behaviours will be expelled from buying in all vibandas and hotels” reads part of the statement.
Ms Chebet Kiprono, chair lady for Mama Mboga Association in the press statement, further emphasized on unavailability of Sukumawiki that cost sh 10.
“10 shilling Sukumawiki will not be available starting 22nd or utalala njaa banaa” she advised students in the statement.
