Two School Matrons Arrested Over Child Pornography, Distributing Tapes

Police in Kibulu has arrested two school matrons over child pornography allegations and distributing children sex tapes on the internet.

 

The accused have been identified as Nanfuma Hellen and Kadondi Zeresi, both employed at Cambridge Junior School located in Kito Village, Matugga in Wakiso district.

 

It is said that the culprits forced primary one pupils to engage in sexual acts on camera and thereafter selling them to bloggers on social media.

Kadondi and Nanfuma’s arrest came after the victims talked to their peers about it they in turn reported the acts to other teachers and together with the headmaster Ssebunya Paul, they reported the matter to police.

 

Joint police forces from Kawempe, Kibuli and Kasangati led by DPC Muhanguzi Moses visited the school on Monday morning to look into the matter. The matrons were arrested shortly and whisked away in a Super Custom car to Kibuli police station.

 

The school headmaster, Mr. Ssebunya revealed that the entire school fraternity was shocked by the incident and wondered how the two women that were meant to protect the children would instead prey on them.

 

He also stated that the police is looking into the possibility that they were working with different people that were on a mission to tarnish the school name.

 

The parents who have children in the school asked the police to question the culprits and get information out of them because it was rare for such vices to be in the school.

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Onyango Patrick confirmed the arrest of the two matrons and revealed that investigations into the matter were underway. He also advised school owners to always search for background information about the people they employ and bring around children.
