East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA) member of Parliament and Azimio leader Raila Odinga’s daughter Winnie Odinga has fired back at Kenyans asking for Raila’s intervention amid the high cost of living.
“Si ulimtuma Bondo? Achana na Babangu(Didn’t you send Raila to Bondo? Leave my father alone-Winnie Odinga),”she tweeted
The Odinga’s finest did not stop there but went ahead to breath fire at those mentioning his dad.
Yesterday, the Government reviewed the cost of various services including the cost of acquiring birth and death certificates.
In the new revisions, Kenyans will pay more for passports and ID applications and renewals.
Additionally, a Kenyan who gives birth to a child outside the country will pay Ksh 1,000,000 for citizenship registration a double rise from Ksh 500, 000.
The increase comes at a time when Kenyans are struggling to cope up with the high fuel prices which has seen rise in SGR fares among other commodities
