Residents Question Mysterious Death Of Police Boss
Shock and fear gripped residents of Ssembabule District after they discovered AIP Samwiri Asiimwe, the OC of Kikoma police post dead in his house at around 7 AM.
Neighbors to the deceased expressed their sadness over losing the 60-year-old officer who they said loved his job, was well behaved and cared so much for the community.
Kyeyune Pasikale, the chairperson Kikoma Village revealed that he made a program to meet up with the deceased about security issues concerning the area but was surprised when he got the sad news about his death this morning.

“We had to hold a meeting with him together to discuss security in our area. There must have been something wrong with him because one day we had one of those meetings and he fainted. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition,” he said.
Mabindo Subcounty councilor, Ssebowa Simon hinted at the poor living conditions of police men which he says may trigger such occurrences because they are not facilitated well enough to get proper medication.

The body was transported to a hospital in Ssembabule for postmortem to determine the cause of death before being handed over to his family for burial.
