Pastor Samwel Ojo a church pastor at Grace Abode Church in Delta State, Nigeria is allegedly reported to have sold his church congregants to a cleric who has a church metres away from his.
On Tuesday, news circulated on social media in Nigeria over the cleric’s move however the transactions and price he sold the members, church building, land and assets remaining a mystery.
According to one media house in Nigeria; members were shocked after discovering the information of being sold and their pastor gone abroad.
They claim, changes in church leadership/authority left rhetorical questions in their minds wishing to know what prompted Mr Ojo to sell them to his friend Michael Ade.
On social media X, users have raised controversial opinion over the cleric’s motive as majority argue that contemporary churches founded by some ‘Men of God’ are business oriented.
