Lady Shocked After DNA Ancestral Tests Shows She Has Ancestors In Iraq
Ancestry DNA tests have made a woman plan a search to meet her relatives in Iraq, Ukraine, Venezuela and Afghanistan.
A Nigerian lady based in England has said she went for an ancestral DNA test to know her place of origin as an individual.
Upon going for tests, results showed that she’s 95.1% Nigerian, 1.5% East European, 1.4% West Asian, 1.0% Finnish and 1.0% West African.
The lady, Abimbola was shocked to discover her ancestors are also in West Asia- Iraq, Greece, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan despite her parents (mother and father) being Nigerians by blood and birth.

Her video captioned: ” This is just to show we are all one and we have literally come out of each other. I am still shocked”.
In the video, Abimbola further wondered on the accuracy of the DNA results keeping in mind her great great grandparents never step out of Nigeria.
The woman has now claimed to look for her relatives based on what the ancestral DNA tests showed her.
“I need to go and look for my family. I’m a Swedish? I’m curious” she poses after seeing the results.
On her TikTok video, netizens have raised different views regarding the accuracy of the tests. To many, how can Abimbola have a high ancestral DNA percentage in East European compared to West Africa?
