Woman Runs Away With Groom’s Household Items Few Hours To Wedding
Friends and family who had no idea about the unexpected occurrence flocked St. Matthew Bbira church to witness the couple say their vows
A man was left lamenting after his yet to be bride packed all her belongings together with all the household items and disappeared just a few hours to their wedding day.
The snubbed groom identified as Kintu Patrick, a resident of Wakiso district on Friday left his wife, Joseline home to check on the reception venue where they would treat their visitors the next day. When he returned home at 9 PM, he was shocked to find an empty house. At first, he thought the house had been robbed until neighbors broke the news to him.
The confused Kintu revealed that he last talked to his wife earlier in the day because they both had plans to run errands for the wedding but didn’t have any idea that his wife would dessert him and steal the household items.

On the day of the supposed wedding, their friends and family who had no idea about the unexpected events flocked St. Mathew Bbira church to witness the couple say their vows. Having not seen the couple, they went to reception venue (African Renewal University, Buloba) where they were told the news about the wedding cancellation.
Speaking about the issue, Kintu revealed he was stronger and only needed his wife to bring back his documents.

“As long as I’m alive, everything will be fine. I talked to her on phone and asked her to return my documents. I made a statement at the police station reporting the theft of my property,” he said.
One of the neighbors and church members supported Joseline’s decision to ditch the wedding saying revealing how Kintu constantly disrespected her.

“The very first day they came for wedding counseling, she ran away in fear. That man called her a rat in front of her friends in church. Her decision doesn’t surprise me,” she said.
The couple had spent 10 years together with an 8 year old child.
