Bien-Aimé Baraza, a prominent figure in the Kenyan music industry has recently treated his fans to a dose of candid opinions.

The Sauti Sol member has made headlines once again, this time for his remarks on fellow artist Khaligraph Jones.

Known for chart-topping hits, Khaligraph is no stranger to the spotlight. However, it appears that not everyone is impressed by his persona.

“I love Khaligraph’s songs, not the person, amenifika hapa,” Bien Aime boldly declared.

Earlier this year, the two artists engaged in an online exchange when Bien raised concerns about the royalties paid to him by the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK).

With Bien receiving Ksh.14,634 from MCSK, he couldn’t resist making a playful comment on social media, wondering the amount that ‘upcoming’ musicians like Jones might have received.

The rapper did not take it lightly, he fired noting that Bien’s M-PESA balance was empty until MCSK sent the funds.

Khaligraph recently stated that Sauti Sol should have charged Ksh100K for Sol Fest tickets, emphasizing that if he were to host a similar event, he would charge Ksh50,000.
He highlighted that Sauti Sol’s brand value and influence surpass his own.
