Raila Goes Against Court Order, Attends Luo Cultural Event

Azimio leader Raila Odinga has defied a court order that stopped today’s planned Luo Piny 2023 Cultural event.

In the petition filed before Justice Daniel Odumbe to stop the process by  nine people comprising of Nyandiko Ongadi, Thomas Achando, Silas Olala, Okeyo Abebe, Oduogo Gwena, Margaret Nyambok, Felix Okal, Pius Odote and Stephen Oludhe.

The petitioners sued the counties and all governors from the Nyanza region.

Justice Ogembo issued an orders restraining the respondents from holding the event which the ODM leader has attended and is currently ongoing.
