President Ruto Unveils One Paybill For All Government Services

President William Ruto has unveiled one paybill number for all Government services.
While speaking on Friday during the launch of Gava Mkononi, mobile app version of e-Citizen, the head of state noted that there is a problem with the many pay bills that are available as they cannot be accounted for.
He therefore promised that his administration will shut down all the other over 1,000 Paybills in the next 90 days and use the new paybill which is 222222 to pay all Government services.
He further added that the holder of the Paybill will be the treasury which will monitor all payments made.
