Gachagua To Media: Welcome To The World Of Moses Kuria

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has come out to defend Trade CS Moses Kuria in fight with Nation Media Group.
According to the Country’s second in Command, Moses Kuria is simply holding the media to account and all leaders should join him in doing so.
The DP noted that they have for a long time faced criticism from the media without fighting back but now, it is time to question the media and hold them accountable.
“For a long time, our friends in the media were used to criticizing us and nobody used to question them. We took the criticism and we agreed they hold us to account but things have changed also.Now, we are also saying somebody needs to hold the media to account, so welcome to the world of Moses Kiarie Kuria”
Speaking during a graduation ceremony at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Gachagua also asked the court to gag media when leaders run to courts to report cricitism by media.
“The same way the courts have been persuaded to gag Moses Kuria from holding the press to account, I want the same court to give same orders when leaders move to court to restrain the media from criticizing leaders so that we are fair. What is good for Nation media must be good for Moses Kuria”
He further expressed delight in seeing the media reacting to Moses Kuria’s utterances.
“I am so happy with the way the media has reacted to criticism. It’s good you are feeling the way we feel. You have been hitting us left, right and center nobody has ever held you to account. Now Moses Kuria has asked you only 3 questions and you are crying? You have seen nothing. We want to ask all leaders to join Moses Kuria to hold the press to account”
