Victor Wembanyama Selected Number One By Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs selected France’s Victor Wembanyama as the number one overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft.
Wembanyama, who is 7 feet 4 inches tall, is anticipated to have an immediate impact in the NBA.
He plays the floor well, enjoys taking outside shots, and is strong in the paint. He played 44 games for the Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans this season, averaging 20.6 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.0 blocked shots, and 2.5 assists.

The Charlotte Hornets selected Alabama forward Brandon Miller at No. 2 overall, while the Portland Trail Blazers selected G League Ignite point guard Scoot Henderson at No. 3.
