N’Golo Kante, a midfielder for Chelsea and France, has decided to join Al-Ittihad, the reigning champions of Saudi Arabia.

 

 

At the end of June, the 32-year-old’s Stamford Bridge contract comes to an end. Kante has experienced injury problems and played nine times for Chelsea in the 2022–23 season.Karim Benzema, a fellow Frenchman, will join him at Al-Ittihad after the striker signed a three-year contract with the club this month after leaving Real Madrid.

 

 

Kante won the Premier League, Europa League, Champions League, and FA Cup while at Chelsea. He received the Football Writers’ Association and Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year awards for the 2016–17 season. He was crucial to France’s 2018 World Cup victory.

 

 

Kante has agreed to a three-year deal with the team, reportedly worth £86 million. Kante has arrived in Saudi Arabia alongside Benzema and five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
